The 7-string guitar below was custom made for Mike Tucci of Spring City, PA. This is Mike’s second custom guitar and features an amazing figured koa top on a black limba body.  The five piece black limba/ebony/koa neck is fully bound with koa and ebony, and his fingerboard and headstock inlays are hand cut koa, from the same piece of wood as the top. Mike’s guitar also has body-matching control cavity and tremolo covers, and ebony tuner buttons and knobs. The guitar has Bartolini 7-string humbuckers and an original Floyd Rose tremolo. Like Mike’s first guitar, the middle position of the toggle switch links the pickups’ two inside coils.  Check out Mike’s band, Mind Over Matter: http://www.mindovermatterband.net

The guitar below was custom made for Rich Caterisano of Glen Burnie, MD. Rich’s guitar features a bookmatched African Padouk top and back with a chambered mahogany core and an original Floyd Rose tremolo. The five piece maple/padouk neck has an ebony fingerboard and headplate accented with solid padouk binding. Rich’s fingerboard has a custom 15th fret inlay hand cut from figured pearl, and smaller 4 mm pearl position markers. The Jim Wagner pickups give the guitar an extremely versatile tone pallete, and the ebony extras with black hardware look terrific against the deep red padouk.

The guitar below was custom made for Steve Effren of Lady Lake, FL.  Steve’s guitar features an amazing, bookmatched ziricote top, 5-piece maple and purpleheart neck, purpleheart fingerboard and headstock binding, body-matching control and tremolo covers,  paua abalone headstock inlay, a chambered mahogany body and a Wilkinson tremolo. For his electronics, Steve chose Jim Wagner hand-wound pickups and a Torres control harness. Steve’s guitar plays and sounds incredible (the Wagner pickups sound awesome) and I love the clean look of the fat purpleheart stripes and the matching control covers.

The guitar below was custom made for Mike Tucci of Pottstown, PA.  Mike’s guitar features a breathtaking, bookmatched master grade curly walnut top, purpleheart fingerboard and headstock binding, paua abalone headstock inlay, a basswood body and 5 piece mape and walnut neck. Mike has zebra/reverse zebra Seymour Duncans and in the middle position, the toggle switch links the pickups’ two inside coils. The guitar has a Schaller Floyd Rose tremolo, a wider neck than on my standard model, and improved 24th fret access (now standard on Eric Christman Guitars).

The guitar below was custom made for Wayne Hunt of Fairfax, VA.  He wanted a guitar to be used primarily for many different styles of blues but to be versatile enough to accomodate other styles as well.  Wayne chose to have a Gibson style tailpiece and three pickups. There is a Gibson P-90 at the bridge, a Seymour Duncan ‘59 humbucker in the middle (with coil tap and phase switches) and a Seymour Duncan SSL-1 single coil at the neck. (Thanks again to the great guys at Seymour Duncan for the help matching pickup levels and tones. The guitar really sounds terrific)  Wayne’s guitar also features a slighly more sculped body and master grade curly maple.
